Reporting a calculation error

If a figure looks wrong, it helps enormously if you include: the salary or figures you entered, which calculator you were using, what result you got, and what you expected instead. That lets us reproduce it straight away.

A note on what we can't do

We can't give personal tax or financial advice, or tell you what to do about your own tax code or return — only HMRC or a qualified adviser can do that. For anything specific to your circumstances, gov.uk and an accountant are the right places to go.
